What a weekend 😱 Although I was not crowned tonight, I cannot ignore what an accomplishment this experience has been. My pageant journey started last year with Miss Polonia NY, then with Miss Immigrantt USA, and continued with the Miss New York USA pageant. I did this to practice being brave, to improve my public presentation skills, to be part of a larger community that celebrates strong, beautiful women and to meet them. I believe women should support women, and this is exactly what this pageant was about. Everyone was kind and helped one another.
I am proud I was even able to make it onto the stage as I got a serious allergic reaction two hours before the show. With the help of these women, and my chaperones who took care of me during that painful time, I was able to participate in the opening number and take part in the competition. I am incredibly thankful to have met amazing women at this pageant - I’ve gained wonderful friends and possibly future business partners. Thank you to my friends and family who have donated or cheered me on in person or on social media, and thank you to my generous sponsor @polishslavicfcu for making this experience possible. This is not the end, it is just the beginning of my journey to becoming the woman I want to be. Sending lots of love to all my fellow #missnyusa finalists ❤️
